The story

More than a concert.
A movement.

Verlando Small: Reimagined was built on a simple but powerful belief. Which is that the musicians who shape the heartbeat of our culture deserve to stand fully in the spotlight.

The artist

Verlando Small

Chairman · Saxophonist

Verlando Small is not simply a saxophonist. He is a cultural force emerging from the Caribbean with a global mandate. Rising to prominence as the first non-vocalist to win Jamaica's Digicel Rising Stars competition, Verlando redefined what leadership from an instrument could look like.

In a space designed for vocalists, he proved that tone, discipline, and presence could command national attention without a single lyric. But that was only the beginning.

Today, Verlando stands in excellence and purpose, as a genre-fluid instrumentalist whose sound traverses jazz, reggae, soul, orchestral textures, contemporary worship, and modern chart reinterpretations. He is anchored by faith, and every stage is treated as sacred ground.

Beyond performance, Verlando is committed to building systems: mentoring emerging creatives in financial literacy, brand discipline, and sustainable career architecture. He represents longevity over "hype".

The vision
"This concert is a recalibration of the stage. It is musicians front and centre."

Verlando Small Reimagined marks the beginning of a broader movement dedicated to celebrating Jamaica's world-class instrumental talent as standalone stars.
